Through in-depth interviews and a collaborative effort with the founder, we crafted a visual identity that pays homage to the past while looking forward to the future. Understanding a startup's specific journey stage is crucial, and for Gray Matter, in its infancy, a MVP approach to branding was essential. The result is a testament to our ability to create a simple yet robust identity without breaking the bank.
Gray Matter processes information for the rest of the body;
it controls our impulses and works fast.It contains our nerve cells and, most importantly, where theinput and outputs go.
The logo, logo symbol and 5. element symbolise this process.
Through the in- and output, an impulse occurs, such as a
bodily response. There are a vast variety of impulses and responses.
